About Me

So that’s me, on the left. I’m Ruth and I’m a mum of two.

Ruth Maisey

When I was pregnant with my first child, all rested and full of anticipation, happily looking through the range of baby products to fill up my house, I found that, of all the purchases you make when you have a new baby, buying a travel system was by far the most complicated and daunting! And the cost!

What brand is best, what is the safest, what is the easiest to use, the most comfortable, the trendiest (?), the best price… it was a minefield! There are so many out there, so many combinations and a HUGE range of prices.

I ended up get my first travel system from my brother in law, a hand me down, which was given to me, but once I started using it, I found so many issues with it, I wouldn’t have bought it myself. So when baby no 2 came along, I was reluctant to use the same system, but now I had two children to fit into the decision on the next purchase. What elements that I had already could I use for the new system?

Time for a change..

So when I looked into a new system I really started to stumble. I couldn’t find anywhere on-line where I could find information on all the questions I had or any guidance on buying the right system from a reputable store. I had no time to browse the stores testing them all out.

So this is my mission. To provide you with all the information you need to make the right choice for you, all in one place, with all the well known reputable brands, including store own brands. A one stop shop for one of the most complicated purchases ever.

I hope I have succeeded in helping you.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me, I really want to help and make this easier. You can email me on ruth@simplyprams.com  and I promise I will get back to you within 24 hours.

  1. I think that this site will be beneficial to anyone who has little ones that are travelling you can really see the passion you have for this and it shows in your desire to make this happen

  2. Good job. This is a very important subject and you cover it magnificently. We raised 7 kids, and strollers, chairs and beds can be dangerous if they have flaws.

Well done, great fortune to you. J
